So on Sunday many good folk gave up an hour or so of their time on a sunny afternoon to help with the big ice shelf. Mostly drawing from my craftcamp network – the kids and their parents came and folded paper, stapled shapes together, cut out new ones and worked on their own souvenir ‘bergy bit’. The windows had the previous tenants logos removed and many staples were magneted up.
It was one incredibly productive and fun day.
Thanks everyone who lent a hand, got me a coffee and joined in. I am really enjoying sharing my art practice with you all and it has been great opening it up and making a bit of a team sport out of it! I am a bit sleep deprived, so sorry if I am not making complete sense…so here are some pics of the day instead
